Ive finished my summer argumentive class YEAH! I'm Throwin a mid summer nights BBQ at my house... Food, Beer, Wine, and what ever. It's a relief party in between summer class and fall semester. I think I did pretty good too, I had better got an A. For my final I had to write up an argument what I thought I should get for a grade. Yeah like that's real hard! 

 

Good news well after a little worrysome news.

My Dad last weekend had a small, small heart attack. Thankfully he is alright and fixed up for now. He had two stents placed to his RCA: Right Coranary Artery for non-medical people, and is expected to do fine, as long as he changes his diet and moves around more. I think after this experience he will.  He will need to return and have a work-up on the arteries on the Left, he will most likely need to have a stent in it as well at one point. Hopefully he will prevent buying himself a by-pass surgery.

 

Waiting...Waiting...Waiting

I am waiting for my best friend to go into labor. Ceece Hurry up and have Zoe already. Now I'm counting: 1 day overdue.

I miss you! walk and for goodness sakes have sex. 

My Daughter Megan has learned one of life's sad lessons. For the last 6 months or so her fish splashy has been unable to right himself. Yes he has been floating upside down for more than six months. For the last month in particular I have resorted to hand feeding him. As in, me holding the fish in an upright position and swimming him around the tank so he can get to the food. As soon as I would release him flop he'd go right back to his tummy. Only the last two days it’s been worse, he's blown up so bad that his scales are sticking up and his body feels like Jell-O. Today Dad and I decided it was time to send him "to see Jesus".  We explained to Megan that he was suffering so much and with Jesus he would be back to normal and have the other fish he grew up with in the tank as company. Only one fish now is the soul survivor of Megan’s fish. We bought them for her when she was 2 months old. (She’s now six) Ya know new parents and all. We thought the colorful fish and humm of the tank would lull her to sleep (it did wonderfully). But now there's only one left and he doesn’t look like he'll be around much longer either. So, Fish in hand we set off for the back yard to bury Splashy under a new tree we're planting behind the pool. We told Megan that Splashy will help the tree grow and she will have splashy always close by. She did a good job being brave. She even picked flowers and put them next to the fresh potting soil scattered over the newly planted tree. Later in the morning she found a flattened round stone and wrote:

Several times today she has gone to his rock and told him what has been going on so far in the day. WoW.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thank God I survived!

 

 I am truly relieved to have this day over. I am taking a summer argumentive class and it has been kicking my azz. Tonight I presented a discussion about “family”. 3 hours… 3 freakin’ hours up in front of the class.  I think I did pretty well too! toot toot (yes that’s my hornJ)

 

I jumped in the pool again this morning. I am not quite sure what my motivation is but I really need to do something with/for myself. I need to work on my stamina.  In my pool (about 35 feet, i think), I can do around 5 back and forth laps before I want to die. Yeah I suck! Then I do some leg things until they scream. And I want to do this again tomorrow. I think most importantly is that I need to just do something, anything. And take it one day at a time…
