12月26日 Christmas blessingsA wonderfully blessed Christmas indeed! The kids rose about 7am as usual. I could here them whispering "Was he here?... oh Christian look!" SANTA WAS HERE! SANTA WAS HERE! MOMMY, DADDY.... SANTA WAS HERE!
The kids came screaming in the room as we pretended to sleep. The family got up and went out to see our pittyfulL DEAD, CRISPY, Christmas tree lit all aglow in an heartfilled attempt to pride it self up to the job of best Christmas tree ever. Shame. But the kids didnt even notice or care. They were jumping around the room toward their new trick scooters from Santa. "LOOK MEGAN, A RAMP!" ..."COOL!" Encompasing the room was a long (8 ft?) black bike/scate ramp. Thanks Santa just what they needed in their backyard. I can just see them jumping, getting airbourne, and landing with a crack of some bone or another! But, alas they LOVE IT! Each toy opened was inspected, initially played with and coveted untill we pressed just a little to open the next gift. I was a great morning. Highlight gifts I think was definatally the magnetics from Grandma Eveline and the basketball hoop from Me and Charles. Charles recieved the roto-zip tool from me ( we're going to tile the house hopefully soon) and he gave me a video iPod! LOVE it! We spent the day playing with all the kids' toys, remembering our own childhoods with them. Late afternoon I started the prime rib dinner and we ate around 530. YUMMY. YUMMY YUMMY. ( That's for you Mom!) I, the glutten, drank a bottle of 2004 select Andretti Cab. Oh GOD! delish! Yes the whole bottle. It had a full body, low tannins, smooth finish with some black berry/chocolatish yumm stuff in it.
I know the day late thing but either way. MERRY CHRISTMAS! AND A PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!
